We are excited for you to see our smiles! Beginning 5/20/2021 we will be aligning our mask policy with that of the CDC and within the parameters set forth by NYS, but with a little extra caution slipped in to help our guests and team members feel as safe as possible.
Anyone who is fully vaccinated (as defined by the CDC) will no longer be required to wear a mask while at our restaurant. According to the CDC, an individual is “Fully Vaccinated” two weeks after receiving the second dose of a two-dose COVID19 vaccine series, or two weeks after receiving the Johnson and Johnson vaccine. We ask that anyone who does not meet this criteria PLEASE DO THE RIGHT THING and wear a mask when not seated at your table. In the spirit of added caution, we will continue to encourage social distancing and our tables will remain spaced 6 feet apart, at least for a few more weeks as we all adjust to the changes.
Much of our staff is fully vaccinated and most others have started the process. In order for a Reds team member to work without a mask, they must provide proof of vaccination as defined above. All team members, regardless of vaccination status, also must complete a wellness survey before each shift, and can only work if they are well. When you see a Reds team member without a face covering, you can be assured that they have been fully vaccinated.
We also understand that not everyone is ready to let go of their masks just yet, vaccinated or not, and that is fine too!
